This Jaff duo is the perfect partnership; Owner Jaff started his working life as an electrician but harboured a yearning for farming while he built the capital to fulfil his dream. Then, in 2005 he was finally able to do that when this spectacular piece of land came on the market. It’s proudly placed in a fertile bulge of the Crocodile River, only a few kilometres from the city of Mbombela. It was growing avos, mangoes and citrus when he bought. Owner Jaff has made some changes over the ensuing years, but overall, this continues to be a solid success story, proving that you don’t have to inherit a farm to make a go of this incredible career.
